Well, it looks like we've been keeping up ok with photos but letting the blurbs go a bit in recent months. That's a shame because I like reading the ones from several years ago and jogging my memory of Kate's infancy and toddlerhood. So, I'll try and make a few notes now.
Leah's growing well but still on the small side; less than average for height and thin. Her language is really starting to take off, but still involves a lot of gestures and baby words. A fun thing she has discovered (that we'll have to nip in the bud) is that the word "Ow!" is even more powerful than "No!" She'll often say "ow!" if you try to pick her up against her will or even just suggest that it's time for bed!
Leah's very opinionated about her clothes, which is something that didn't start with Kate until she was over 3.5.
She really loves to dance and one of her favorite games is to repeatedly turn on canned music from a toy and try her ballet moves over and over. It's very cute and her moves are pretty good. Her "snapping" is also very cute...she clicks her tongue in immitation which she rubs her fingers together...just like Kate! (who can now snap quite well for real).
She's been playing pretend for some time and some of it is incredibly cute, trying to get the teddy bear to hold the teacup etc. She's very much in her own little world sometimes. I like catching a glimpse of her playing naptime...rolling over and pretending to go to sleep just as she would in her crib.
